Learn to use the untapped power of your mind to increase your sales and income and put more money in your pocket

     Here are 12 ways that you can start using the untapped power of your mind to increase your sales and income and put more money in your pocket:

1.     Do it mentally first
      A wise old man once told me, "First you think a thing, then you say a thing, then you do a thing."
      It was his way of saying that you do everything first in your mind.  
If you have doubts in your mind, then your speech will reflect those doubts, and you will fail.
If you dwell on success - even if you do not really feel successful - that attitude of success will be reflected in your speech, and will result in many successes along the way.

2.     Prepare yourself at the correct level of mind: Alpha
     If you have learned how to enter the alpha brain wave level, do so.
     If not, then find a quiet place where you can relax, close your eyes, and "daydream" for a few minutes without being disturbed.
     The slower alpha brain wave frequencies (the vibration rate of the electrical energy that operates your brain) are the strongest and most rhythmic, because that part of the brain has the lowest impedance to the flow of current.
     In other words, the alpha level has the fewest impediments to clear thinking.

3.     Review your purpose for wanting to make this sale
     Why do you want to make a sale? If it is only to make money for your own pleasure, then the people you approach will sense that. If you are only interested in what you want, and you don't care about them, why would they want to do business with you?
     Jose Silva advises that you should make sure that at least two or more people benefit.
     The more people who benefit, the better.
     Juan Silva says that the more reasons you have for wanting to make this sale, the stronger you motivation will be, and the more likely you are to succeed.
How many ways will the customer benefit by obtaining your product or service?
How many other people will benefit from this?
How many people will benefit from the income that you earn?

4.     Program yourself to be positive
     Always talk about what you want, not what you don't want.
     Not: You don't want any of my product today, do you?
     Say: Would you be interested in the benefits of my product?
     Paint a word picture of how their life will be better as a result of using your product or service.
     Not: All you have to do is sign......
     Nobody has to do anything. And signing means a commitment.  
     Say: All we need is your signature to get these benefits to you immediately.

5.     Imagine approaching people
     While you are relaxed and daydreaming, imagine approaching people confidently, speaking confidently, using positive words and creating positive mental images.
     Imagine yourself confident, friendly, helpful - the kind of person that anybody would like to know and to do business with. Use the Mental Rehearsal Technique, which is covered in detail both in the book and in the Choose Success Home Study Course.

6.     Find out what they are interested in
     People don't buy because you want them to.  
     They buy because of the benefits they expect to receive.  
     Find out what they want, and then show them how your product or service will help them get it.
     Never assume. Ask questions. First, ask permission to ask them some questions:
     "In order to help you determine for yourself if this product is right for you, is it all right if I ask you some questions about yourself and your work?"
     When they answer Yes, they are giving you permission to sell to them.

7.     Ask for the order
     If you believe that they will benefit from your product or service, then ask for the order. Ask at least three times.  
     If you do not think that they will benefit sufficiently from your product or service to justify the investment, do not force it on them. Instead, ask them for a referral.  
     "It sounds like this might not be something you need at this time. Perhaps you know someone who could benefit from it?"
     Two insurance salesman came to my door one day, and quickly discovered that I did not need life insurance. However, they referred me to somebody who could give me an excellent price on automobile insurance. As a result of their honesty and consideration, and their desire to help me get what I needed, I later referred several people to them who did need life insurance.

8.     Welcome all objections
     Always consider objections to be requests for additional information.  
     Seek objections. If a person turns you down without giving you a reason why, then ask them. Find out what their objection is.
     Always agree with their objections. Our Sales Trainer and Sales Consultant Dennis Higgins writes in the Sales Power book that you can say, "That's a very good point."
     You can use the "Three F" technique: "I know how you Feel. Others have Felt that way. Here is what they have Found." This shows your respect for your customer and their opinion, and lets them know that other people have expressed similar objections and overcome them, presumably to benefit from your product or service.
     Remember: The more objections you get, the more opportunities you have to sell.
     Their objections will let you know what they consider important. It doesn't matter what you think is important. This goes back to Step 6: Find out what they are interested in, and then help them find a way to get it. Hopefully, with your product. If you product or service won't give them what they need, help them figure out how to get it anyway.

9.     Learn to use your intuition
     If you are a graduate of Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP Systems, then you have already practiced using your intuition, and you have verified that you can use it reliably. Continue to practice what you've learned: work cases.  
     If you have not been trained to use your clairvoyant abilities, then you can use the trial-and-error method:
     When you have a "hunch," act on it, and notice what happens.
If your hunch was correct, then as soon as possible, go to a quiet place where you can relax and "daydream" for a few minutes. Review everything that happened, especially how you felt. Learn to recognize that special feeling when you are "tuned in" to the other person's thoughts and feelings.
Compare and contrast the times when your hunch paid off, compared to when it did not. Nobody is correct 100 percent of the time with their psychic ability. Experienced psychics, both those who are naturally developed and those who are trained to use the Silva techniques, average 80 percent accuracy. That's enough to make you rich, as long as you are doing it to benefit more than just yourself.
     Your intuition can help your selling efforts in many ways:
It can let you know the best way to approach someone
How assertive to be; when to let them talk, and when to take control of the conversation
When and how to ask for the order
The best way to answer their objections
Whether to answer the objection, or ignore it
Whether their objections are real, of if they just need a little more motivation; or if they are simply not going to buy so you can move on to the next prospect
You can learn to intuitively sense when to call a customer who is ready to place an order
You can intuitively sense where to look for prospects; what kind of advertising to use; how to get more referrals from your customers and prospects
